Eine Video-Sitemap anzulegen, gehört zu den Grundregeln von Video-SEO. Im Gespräch mit ReelSEO spricht Matt Cutts von Google nun darüber, warum Video-Sitemaps bereits wichtig sind und künftig noch an Relevanz gewinnen werden:
“Google always wants to be as comprehensive as possible, we want to have as much web data as we can but we also want to find as many videos as we can find. So we are starting to look at video sitemaps more and more and I think that if you have a video site and you haven't made a video sitemap yet, I would definitively recommend it."
