Über die spannende Augmented-Reality-Anwendung von Zugara hatten wir auf twive! schon öfters berichtet. Dabei ging aber unter, dass im US-Shop Tobi.com das Webcam-Shopping-Tool bereits seit letztem November im Praxis-Einsatz ist:
"We are always looking for new and fun ways to make shopping with us more personal. If you've ever wondered, how will this look on me? We've got you covered! Grab your webcam and visit our virtual dressing room to try on hundreds of our dresses.
This feature will simply overlay dresses onto live video of you. Now, you can have your very own fashion show with the privacy and convenience of online shopping. Need a second opinion? Take a snapshot of yourself in your favorite dress and share it with friends on Facebook for feedback!"
Die Tobi-Macher wollen ihrer Kundschaft ein persönliches 1:1-Shopping-Erlebnis bieten. Die Zugara-Anwendung passt daher perfekt in den Mode-Shop. Auch wenn leider das neueste Feature in der Tobi-Variante (noch) fehlt.
Warum Zugara allerdings seine Anwendung unter der Bezeichnung "Fashionista" vermarktet, bleibt rätselhaft. Hier könnte eventuell noch Ärger drohen.
Testen lässt sich die virtuelle Webcam-Anprobe hier. Über Kommentare freuen wir uns. Denn bei uns hat die Anwendung leider nicht ganz funktioniert.
