Keine drei Monate ist es her, dass Overlay.tv sein eigenes Video-Widget-Angebot ziemlich umgekrempelt hat. Und schon wieder gibt es Neuigkeiten:
"A few months ago we launched a new platform called Overlay.TV for Retail. At the time, our focus was split between user-generated content and our new eCommerce video platform.
But it became clear in the months that followed that interest in the UGC side was dwindling and that our energies would be better spent if we concentrated solely on our retail platform."
Die Neuausrichtung macht sich sofort beim geänderten Slogan von Overlay.tv bemerkbar ("Shopping through video just got clickable" vs. "Create, Share and Interact with clickable Video"), der Händler nun besser ansprechen soll:
"A lot of online retailers are looking for new ways to integrate video into their sites to better engage existing customers and entice new ones.
It's not just about pushing products, but about building a community of like minded consumers and giving them the ability to share experiences."
In den kommenden Wochen will Overlay.tv erste neue Video-Shopping-Projekte präsentieren. Mit ziemlicher Sicherheit wohl auch etwas von Charles & Marie.
